Designer Sue Michael has created a beautiful collection of scarf designs, ready for you to print and turn into your own finished pieces.
Scarf panel measures 70 × 70 cm. You can fit 2 full scarf panels within 1 metre of fabric, or 4 full panels when ordering 1.5 metres.
We recommend our Cotton Voile, Chiffon and Dilly fabrics as the most suitable option for scarves.
Artist’s Statement
The historical house, Carrick Hill, has within its collection of fine paintings, still lifes sharing glorious flowers in vases. Their gardeners have created a utility garden, behind the rear hedge, that grows many of the plants within one particular painting. A series of collaged photographs of the hippeastrums growing there constitute this design. Reds, pinks and all their local variations, are presented on a charcoal background. It will be easier to match a lipstick colour to these reds and pinks, rather than to the usual primary red, seen in art supplies at the newsagency.
