Designer Sue Michael has created a beautiful collection of scarf designs, ready for you to print and turn into your own finished pieces.
Scarf panel measures 70 × 70 cm. You can fit 2 full scarf panels within 1 metre of fabric, or 4 full panels when ordering 1.5 metres.
We recommend our Cotton Voile, Chiffon and Dilly fabrics as the most suitable option for scarves.
Artist’s Statement
This scarf presents vintage objects, made of wood, that would have been designed, crafted and used in earlier centuries. In this textile design, home-made textured paste papers were used to cut out the objects. The blue border was made from collaged vintage books and coloured card. The wearer would potentially carry an energy that reunites, restores, and celebrates the practical uses of creative skills, that we may be losing.
