Designer Sue Michael has created a beautiful collection of scarf designs, ready for you to print and turn into your own finished pieces.
Scarf panel measures 70 × 70 cm. You can fit 2 full scarf panels within 1 metre of fabric, or 4 full panels when ordering 1.5 metres.
We recommend our Cotton Voile, Chiffon and Dilly fabrics as the most suitable option for scarves.
Artist’s Statement
This design mimics the grandeur of a castle dwelling, though it has element of the everyday, to do so. Ric Rac from a mother’s sewing box, gingham spots, and hand-made paste, marble and plainly painted papers, nestle next to antique book images. Collage has allowed all these elements to be seen together and to suggest a mingling of previously separated styles. Each home can be its own castle.
