Have you been playing around in Photoshop, getting excited by all the possibilities for your designs, but now are looking to figure out the whole repeat business? In this one day workshop we will look at what a repeat is and to set them up.

Using provided artwork and being guided through the full drop repeat process, you’ll walk away being able to apply the new knowledge to your own designs. The class will cover 2-3 ways of developing a full drop repeat and give you the key steps to checking that a repeat is seamless.

Covered in the workshop:

  • What is a seamless repeat and why it is important to check repeats before printing
  • 2-3 variations on a full drop repeat development
  • Saving files, layered vs flat and what to send to the printer

Course Requirements:

  • This workshop is for those with intermediate Photoshop experience who are ready to take their existing knowledge to the next level with seamless repeats.
  • Adobe Photoshop installed on your personal laptop. Required to bring your laptop (don’t forget the charger cable) to work on during the day.
  • Your best creative self and an open mind

Cost: $ 135

Date:  Saturday March 24 10am-4pm with a break for lunch, light refreshments available

 

Additional costs

After the workshop, you can choose to have your design printed. This is at an additional cost and would need to be arranged with Digital Fabrics following the workshop.
