Designer Sue Michael has created a beautiful collection of scarf designs, ready for you to print and turn into your own finished pieces.
Scarf panel measures 70 × 70 cm. You can fit 2 full scarf panels within 1 metre of fabric, or 4 full panels when ordering 1.5 metres.
We recommend our Cotton Voile, Chiffon and Dilly fabrics as the most suitable option for scarves.
Artist’s Statement
These simple starry designs cement a principle that you do not have to be perfect, accurate or all the same. The design was made by collaging vintage books and home-made paste papers onto pink card. The border widths and star arms are all different … but that may be the metaphoric truth of things…we are not meant to be perfect. You can tell the human hand has made these designs—they are perfectly imperfect.
