Designer Sue Michael has created a beautiful collection of scarf designs, ready for you to print and turn into your own finished pieces.
Scarf panel measures 70 × 70 cm. You can fit 2 full scarf panels within 1 metre of fabric, or 4 full panels when ordering 1.5 metres.
We recommend our Cotton Voile, Chiffon and Dilly fabrics as the most suitable option for scarves.
Artist’s Statement
The sky-blue background dominates this scarf with many fine branches and blooms with in it, and with two little birds clearly seen with their darker colouring. The textural branches and berries were made using stencils upon a gelatine printing plate. The birds were cut from paste papers. It is only the border of yellow daisies that is regular in its patterning. If the wearer had this scarf tied around their neck, perhaps they may be the only one to know of the presence of these two cheery little birds.
