Vintage Biscuit Barrels - Sue Michael

Sue’s family home had a large number of these biscuit barrels that were in use. The internet helped to find other vintage vessels, as well. For Sue, they speak of convivial gatherings over cups of tea and playing cards, with small vases of flowers nodding in the breeze of a sunny open window. She has used her own homemade watercolour paints, made from natural pigments. Each biscuit barrel sits within a 5cm square.
