Japanese blossoms, though not clearly seen, grace the feel of this design. It is complemented with swatches of a red Kimono, and elegant sweets for eating. Collage allows all these elements to be brought together. It is a sort of magical process and encourages the designer to bring together other joyful items for fabric…perhaps for the first time. Each repeated square is 10cm, with the central red dotted circle extending to 6cm within each of those squares.
